It does not matter how many hours of work you're doing, how much content you're putting out the branding of your business, whether or not you use ManyChat. Your income will not increase if your subconscious doesn't feel safe receiving and holding that amount of money, that amount of money. Speaker 1:Hello everyone, and welcome back to the Abundant and Aligned podcast and welcome to part two of the Success Unfiltered series. You guys have been loving it so far on Instagram. Thank you so much for sending me a DM and just letting me know that this is a needed conversation in your business right now and that you feel the support and you feel seen, which is exactly why I knew we needed to sit down and have these conversations. I know there are so many women in my world right now who have built some kind of success in their business, or even if you're kind of new, you have the vision, you know what you want, you know the work you want to do, and yet you're just feeling a little stuck and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're feeling sorry for yourself and you're in victim mentality. I know I have an audience of empowered, self-led women, but something's just not sticking. Maybe you've been at the income level for a while. Maybe you're putting so much work into the business and it's not growing the way that you would like it to grow. And there is a reason for it, and I promise it has nothing, very likely nothing, to do with the strategy, the content, the hours, the output. It's the program that you are running your business from, and it's time that we have these really honest conversations, especially in a world where we are bombarded with noise telling us to do more. Try this strategy. Have you got many chat turned on? Are you tracking your lead? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Nope, it all starts with you. It all starts with you. And again, I know there are so many women suffering in silence because we're not having these conversations enough, because you don't know that you actually have full control over the income, the clients, the opportunities, the results that are unfolding in your business, and things can change very, very quick once you make the shift inside of you. Anyways, welcome to part two. We're here today to talk about money. I guess I just wanted to set the scene. I thought we could start doing this again instead of just rolling straight into some topics. Let's set the scene. I thought we could start doing this again. Speaker 1:Yesterday we had a content day in a studio, the dream house in Burley, highly recommend. They have absolutely smashed that out of the park. It is such a cool space, massive event space, podcast studios, a boardroom. The facilities were really cool, with the kitchenette and the makeup station, and they were really lovely. So highly recommend the dream house. But we were there yesterday getting some content for the upcoming launch for the Academy as well as the Gold Coast Immersion in September, and just some fresh content for Instagram. Also, no better feeling than having a bank full of fresh content your little reminder if it's been a little while since you've gone into the studio and got some photos and videos of yourself. So that was yesterday and it was a big day.
Speaker 1:I went to therapy fitness in the morning for a 6.30 cycle class to get the endorphins pumping for what was a big day. Came home, got ready, went to the studio, we were there for a few hours, came home, I had some one-on-one client meetings and then I wanted to get some work done before bed. So it was like a 15 hour day. It was a big day but it was fun. So today I had a little sleep in and now I'm just sitting in my office still in my trackies getting this episode recorded for you guys. So that's the vibe. I'm sipping on my protein smoothie. We've got vanilla, protein, almond milk, spinach, banana, honey and cinnamon. Yum yum yum. That's the vibes.
Speaker 1:The topic today is all about money, and I love talking about money because I want to help you guys have a lot of money, but I also want you to know how to hold onto the money that you do create in the business and I want you to feel good when the money is here. And the reason I'm really passionate about that is because I've been in all of those places. I've been in the phase in business where I struggled to make money in my business and then, once I did make the money, I didn't feel how I thought it would feel. I experienced some imposter syndrome, even though on paper I was really successful. And, yeah, that's why I want to just have an honest conversation about that part of my business. That's why I want to just have an honest conversation about that part of my business.
Speaker 1:So I guess, to take you back a little bit, as we always do when we are new in business. The initial income goal for me was 10K months and I had a period in my business where I went about that goal by simply just working my little ass off huge days alongside also still working in the law firm, literally being everywhere Instagram, tiktok, youtube, the podcast, a weekly email newsletter, pitching myself to other people's podcasts, one-on-one clients programs. I was doing it all and I was running my business from the programming that I had that in order to make more money, you simply need to do more, when the income was not stacking up and it was not equal to the amount of work I was doing in my business. That's when I questioned what was going on and I uncovered the truth, and that is we are simply just a program of our past and whatever you got told about money growing up, the experiences you had with money growing up, is now your program and no matter what you are doing, your life will be a reflection of that program. So in my case, I grew up being told that money doesn't grow on trees.
Speaker 1:There was this feeling that money was scarce, even though my business, my dad, had quite a successful business. It was never spoken about in that way. You know he would and he still does this today look at the price on menus and make a comment about how expensive it was. Or if mom would get the groceries, he would make a comment about how much she spent on the groceries. Yeah, money was not spoken about in a positive, empowered way whatsoever. There was this feeling that there's never enough of it. It's going to run out. We need to limit our expenses to have more money, and that was my story. So, therefore, it didn't matter how hard I worked. It didn't matter what platforms I was on or how good my content was. I was running my business from that limiting story.
Speaker 1:Eventually, though, I worked out that I had to upgrade the subconscious program, which is the work we do inside the Academy, and I did that work to get to 10K months, and I had a 10K month, and then it grew to 15K months and then 20K months, and the business was just going off. It finally had the momentum that I had been working so hard for, and, honestly and I've spoken about this before it had nothing to do with what I was doing, and, in fact, I pulled back so much. I stopped showing up on TikTok, I ditched the weekly newsletter and just really honed in on just Instagram and the podcast, because that's where I enjoyed hanging out and I really wanted to be solid in few areas as opposed to diluted in many areas. So I guess my workload pulled back a little bit. I also got rid of one-on-one coaching and condensed that into a mastermind and just had the academy, her empire, which is my mastermind, and then I turned the wealthy woman into a passive core. So, like I really did strip back my workload and the amount of output that I was doing, but because I had upgraded my subconscious mind to feel safe to receive the 10K months, the 10K months started to drop in. It felt like magic.
Speaker 1:It was such an exciting time in my business. I always call that year my quantum leap year, because I went from making like 12,000 the year prior to 100,000 the next year. It was a huge leap. So things were good and the momentum was here and the income was going up month after month after month until I got to the 20K month mark and I had my first 20K month mark, my first 20K month, and I did not tell anyone. I didn't tell anyone, I didn't celebrate it, and it's not that the celebration wasn't happening outwards, I didn't even feel excited about it. I mean, of course I was excited. Yeah, I was excited.
Speaker 1:I was like wow, okay, cool, 20k months, but I definitely didn't have the feeling that I should have, considering my business was making $20,000 per month quite soon into my business this was only a year into being full-time in the business Like that's an incredible amount of money in that amount of time, but I just did not give it the attention that it should have because I genuinely just didn't feel that excited about it, and at first I thought it was because 20K months, in the scheme of things and where I see this business being, is quite small still. However, what was actually happening was it was too big for the programming that I had. So I had done all of this subconscious reprogramming work, all this nervous system work to get me to the 10K months, but then, once I got to the 10K months, I wasn't then doing what's required to get to the 20, 30, 40, 50k months, because that's a whole different ballgame. So I was looking at it like, oh yeah, this is just small in the scheme of things where we're going to grow so much more Consciously. That's what I was thinking, but subconsciously it was actually becoming too big.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, like I mentioned, I hardly celebrated and, for the first time in a long time in my business, I started to experience this sense of imposter syndrome not necessarily imposter syndrome in in regards to feeling like I didn't know what I was doing and feeling like I wasn't experienced enough, but rather like it was too good to be true and having these really deep thoughts and emotions of wait. I actually did this, like I actually have this business, making this much money with this clients and responsibilities, and I kind of started to feel out of my depth. And I'll go into the work that I did at the 20k month mark to help with all of this. But, yeah, I just started to feel out of my depth and the inner child in me just started to get scared. It started to feel heavy and like a lot and, yes, subconsciously, my body and my nervous system was wanting to repel this kind of money because it just felt too much.
Speaker 1:And the other crazy thing was my business was making $20,000 per month, which is insane money, but yet I still felt so broke. I still felt like I had no money. I felt like I still had to limit myself in ways and while in, in reality, I wasn't, like, I was still living, because, you know, I I embody what I say we can just make more money. So consciously I knew that. I knew that. But deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down, deep down, I still felt broke. And this is the biggest lesson for you and for all of us Having money does not fix your money mindset.
Speaker 1:Having money does not fix the subconscious program that is screaming. We are not familiar with actually having money and there's actually a really good book on this. It's called the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind and he says you can be a rich person with a poor person's programming. So if this is sounding familiar for you, if you have experienced income months that you should have been celebrating and that was a lot of money for you in the scheme of things, but yet it felt like it wasn't here to stay. You felt scared with what was coming with the money and it felt like a fluke. It felt like too good to be true and you still felt broke, even though on paper you weren't or you aren't. Again, this is a huge indication that you're running your business with a program that is not going to be able to hold the income that you may be seeing right now. And the unfortunate truth is, unless you're doing this subconscious reprogramming work, that the good money you're making in your business right now won't stick around. It won't stay because your subconscious eventually will start to repel it and that will manifest into clients dropping off, people requesting refunds, random bills to take the money away from you or, subconsciously, you'll just start overspending your money to get rid of it so that you go back to your baseline of struggling with money and being broke, if that is what, historically, is familiar for you. So again, you cannot outwork your subconscious.
Speaker 1:Program Like this is the work that is needed for every single woman in business, every single woman in business, but particularly us, because I know we didn't have the best conversations with money growing up. You know when we look back in our childhood there wasn't the best feeling or the best association to money. Again, we were told money doesn't grow on trees. You have to work really hard. It makes people bad, it makes people greedy. No one will like you if you have money. Rich people are loners. The more money you have, the more stress you have. It's overwhelming All that crap we heard. It's still playing out today unless you're doing the subconscious reprogramming work. Unless you have been in the Academy, you need to do this work. So if you have not come through the Academy yet it opens again on the 11th of August go and either get on the wait list or enroll, depending on when you're listening to this. This is the work that is so required as a woman in business who wants a business and a life that is far from average, because I know you do. Okay, there's that plug.
Speaker 1:Anyways, going back to my 20 K months, earning $20,000 per month in the business but still feeling broke, starting to feel like it was too good to be true, fearing that I would lose it all, and just not feeling stable with the money that was coming in, however, what I did? Because the business was growing more clients, more opportunities, more momentum, which was great. So, again, the programming kicked into gear, and that is just do more, keep your head above water. So I thought that because I had done some, I had done a lot of subconscious reprogramming work to get to the 20k months, it's why I was making that kind of money. So I was like, yeah, my mindset is fine, I'm just going to focus on the output in the business. So I worked on my messaging, I hired marketing help, I focused on lead generation strategies. I was just trying to do more out there. But it didn't fix that feeling inside and I still felt wobbly. I still felt like the 20K months were not here to stay. I felt like I was going to lose it all. Blah, blah, blah, blah blah.
Speaker 1:Eventually, of course, I had to do the work. I had to do the new kind of work, not the subconscious reprogramming work, not the nervous system work that got me to 10K months, but rather the work that's then required at the 20K month mark. And there's a whole other kind of work at 30, 40, 50, 80, 100k months. It's different. With every new level comes a new devil, it is literally true. So there was new work involved. It was no longer about receiving money through my business. That was fine. The new work now was holding onto this money and showing my nervous system that it's safe to have this amount of money and we're not going to burst at the seams.
Speaker 1:So, because I was feeling out of my depth, a lot of the work that I started to do was inner child work, because what was coming through was that little inner child version of me that, yeah, as I said, felt out of my depth, questioned is this too good to be true? Can we really do this? Can we really hold this Like I don't know? I don't know. So I did a lot of inner child work, which again we do inside the Academy. I also did a lot of shifting internally in terms of my identity, but in terms of how I wanted to make the money. So, again, at that point, the 20 K month mark, the 20 K month mark I had, the Academy, the wealthy woman was ran live. Yeah, so I just made some shifts to the product suite and again, like I mentioned, stripped it back, turned my one-on-one clients into a mastermind, really streamlined the Academy even further. The wealthy woman is now just an evergreen course.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I just made some shifts because one fear that was coming up for me was this is already feeling quite heavy and the 20k months is not where I'm stopping, like we're going to keep growing in terms of the income. This is a million dollar business, so there is going to be more income. However, that increase in income cannot, or I did not want it to, come with an increase in work. So at that point I was required to really take a look at okay, how can I create that version of my success? My version of success is having a lot of money, but not having to burn myself out and live for the business and work, and work, and work. In order for that to be my reality, I want to have a lot of money and have a lot of wealth and success, but also have a lot of time and space. I want to be able to honor myself as a woman and align my life and my business with my menstrual cycle, take days off, sleep in, go on holidays, spend time with my family, but not have that jeopardize the amount of money I'm making.
Speaker 1:So in order for that reality to play out, I really had to shift gears and take a look at how I was actually going to do that. How can I increase my income without necessarily increasing the workload? And again like what needs to shift within my business, the structure of my business, how I'm making money for that to be the reality. So that was, then, the work that I was doing again stripping back content, really owning my area of expertise and just staying in that area, staying in my own lane, figuring out how I wanted to show up online and the kind of work I wanted to put out in the world and just having that be enough. We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with new strategies, new approaches, new ways of running our businesses, and it's very easy to get caught up in what others are doing, which could be a reason why you're feeling really scattered and diluted at the moment, because maybe you're trying to do too much simply because you're seeing them do it, and maybe even what you're doing isn't actually the way you're supposed to run your business. So, yeah, it was.
Speaker 1:For me, it was really disidentifying, like, how am I supposed to run my business? Sorry, guys, I just had to pause because Bart's just bombarded into the office to get stuff for golf. So, anyways, where were we? I was really just figuring out how I wanted to be in the business and, yeah, figuring out how I could create my version of having a lot of money in the way where it didn't mean that I was burning myself out and exhausting myself and doing things that I did not want to be doing in the business and online. So that was the new kind of work. It was learning how to hold this kind of money and also receive this like have this money in the business in the way that I wanted it to come in and be when it was in the business and really just taking a look at what that all looked like and redefining success, redefining the business structure Again work that we're doing inside the academy, if you're joining me in there. So that's kind of my story and that's the truth that I wanted to share with you guys today.
Speaker 1:Like the reality of having the results in the external but not having that match up with how you feel internally and also realizing that this work does not stop and with every new level, there is different kind of work to do so that your nervous system can keep expanding to hold larger amounts of money and so that your subconscious can keep viewing these new levels of income as safe. Because every new level you achieve is going to be unfamiliar at some point. Right, if you've never earned that kind of money, whatever your goal is, whether it's 10K, 20k, 50k, 100k, whatever that new income level is, it's new. Therefore it's unfamiliar. So there is a part of you and this will apply no matter how driven or ambitious you are, no matter how hard of a work you are, no matter how consciously you want this, this still applies to you. A new income level is unfamiliar for your brain, so at some point it will try and sabotage you achieving that income goal because it simply views that income goal as unsafe, because it is unfamiliar.
Speaker 1:Remember, we've got to remember the brain does not want your life to change. The brain does not want you, as a woman, to change. Change takes a lot of energy for your brain and its primary role is to protect and preserve you. Its primary role is survival. It's survival To create change and to be someone different and do something different. It requires a lot of energy within the brain. Therefore, that energy that's being put into creating the change is therefore taking away from the energy required to keep you alive, and it is going to prioritize your survival over the change that could potentially make your life better.
Speaker 1:It doesn't realize that more money is going to make your life better. It doesn't realize that growing your business is going to make your life better. It doesn't realize that more money is going to make your life better. It doesn't realize that growing your business is going to make your life better. It just sees all of that as change. Therefore, it's not a priority for your brain, so it will try and resist it. This is why the work is so important rewiring your brain at every single level. So, to wrap up our episode today, just some lessons that you can take away from part two of this series, if this has really hit home for you. And again, it doesn't, does not matter how much you're making in your business, what level you are working towards at the moment. There is an element of this episode that will apply to you. So some lessons. Number one just remembering that you, you are influencing the amount of money your business is making.
Speaker 1:And no strategy, no amount of hard work, no amount of content, no perfect lead generation strategy or formula or anything like that, will change a limiting story inside of you. If you are doing everything right, but doing so with a limiting subconscious money story, that's what will keep playing out. That will prevail any day of the week. That will prevail any day of the week. This is why I'm so passionate about having these conversations with you. The world is lying to you. Social media is lying to you. That strategy will not fix your money story. That formula will not fix your money story. Doing that style of content will not fix your money story. You are the only one who can fix your money story. Doing that style of content will not fix your money story. You are the only one who can fix your money story. And that is not strategic work. It is subconscious and nervous system work. We do it in the academy. Get your butt in there. The next lesson is actually I just had a little note here. Um, I know this conversation is so needed because I was actually.
Speaker 1:I was in a someone on the call. This is not in any of my programs, it's something else I'm in. Someone on the call was doing everything in her business. She was doing the events, she was pouring herself into her content. She was really consistent with her content. She was doing launch after launch. She was showing up, she was putting in the work, but yet she was not seeing the results that she wanted to see in her business.
Speaker 1:And I watched this conversation unfold so many times where she was told to maybe try this strategy to follow up with people or maybe implement this many chat trigger where if they comment this word, they'll get sent the DM straight away. Like, maybe you could collect leads that way. Maybe you need to just shift your messaging for this event and a lot of the focus was on fixing something out there. And I just watched her crumble and just be so depleted and so confused and so frustrated because she would do that, like she would take that advice and she would go away and make the changes out there in the business, but yet the results were not shifting for her and I just sat there and I'm like it's, there's something in you that is blocking the income and the clients that you, that you were working so hard for. It's all coming from you. And the moment you just turn within and you address your biggest fears with that income level, you address what you're actually gaining by being in this. In quote struggle, struggling, part in your business. Once you upgrade the subconscious so it feels safe to receive what you're trying to bring in, then the results will drop in and you won't even need to touch a single thing out there and it will just happen.
Speaker 1:So I'm seeing this and again, like I'm I'm wanting to be such a needed voice in this conversation, like more women need to know that everything in your business the clients, the money, the opportunities, the followers, the likes, the visibility, like everything happening in your business right now is a reflection to something within you. And if you really take a look at the circumstances and the results that you're seeing in your business right now and you connect the dots to something within you, there is something in you whether it's a thought, an expectation, an emotion, a belief that has created that outcome. It is not a coincidence. You have created it. Therefore, you can create something different. And I never sit here and try and say like you're broken and you're doing this and it's all your fault, but it's to sit here and remind you of the power you have in terms of the results that you were seeing in your business. And you don't need to keep trying and keep being disappointed. You don't need to keep burning yourself out, you don't need to keep waiting. The change that you see can happen so fast Once you know how to shift you as a woman and as an entrepreneur so that you become a match for something different, match for something different. So it's all starting from you. The shift that's required in your business is within you.
Speaker 1:The next little reminder lesson I wanted to say is let's stop normalizing, struggling with money. Let's stop normalizing, just settling with the income that we currently have when it is limiting our life still. And let's make more money. Make more money, feel good about money, hold more money, do good things in this world with our money and live a good life because money allows us to do it. Let's really set the bar high and let's put in the work to normalize that kind of standard. But remember, in order to have that kind of standard, we must be doing the subconscious work. We must be upgrading our subconscious mind so we can even manifest that kind of money. We must be doing the nervous system work so it stops being so triggered by more money and instead you can hold and have this money. You can actually live this life comfortably.
Speaker 1:Insert the Academy honestly. Insert the Academy. And it does not matter where you are in your business, it doesn't matter if you are new, if you have been here for five years, 10 years, it doesn't matter how much money you're making. Every single woman in business will learn and be so advantaged by the academy because it's the foundational work. When you know how to upgrade yourself as a woman, your identity shifts, your frequency shifts and you know how to do this time and time and time again. It means that you don't need to keep struggling. You don't need to experience procrastination, sabotage. You don't need to experience stuckness, because you know how to keep moving forward. You know how to keep holding more, and when you do it feels good. It feels good.
Speaker 1:So, depending on when you're listening to this, the Academy wait list is open as this is released. Otherwise, it will be open for enrollment on the 21st of July, closes again on the 10th of August and we start on the 11th of August. This is the final intake that I'm doing for 2025. So this is your opportunity to quantum leap in 2025. There is still time to achieve the financial goals that you set. There is still time for those travel plans. There is still time for the shifts that you wanted to make in your life this year. You don't need to wait until 2026 to set the same goals again, gear up and go again for another year. There is still time to make it all happen this year, and at the start of this episode, I shared how quickly my income grew in such a short amount of time. It was that happened because of everything that you learn inside the Academy. It's changing women's lives and it's building your kind of success in your business, increasing your income, attracting in more clients, growing your brand, growing your business, but by being more, not always doing more.
