I turned 32 π Which meant an annual audit of the last year to pull out the biggest highlights, reflect on the failures that were actually a success, and identify what I learned about business growth that I can now give back to you.
Some of these lessons made me money. Some cost me money. And some forced me to realise that I actually want to break some of the biggest business rules online.
In this episode you will learn:
- The lesson that completely changed the way I look at launches, goals and timing
- Why building a business around your strengths creates far more momentum than trying to fix your weaknesses
- Why some of the biggest breakthroughs happen after periods that feel like failure
- The hidden cost of chasing goals that no longer align with who youβre becoming and the reputation of your brand.

I'm so excited to be sitting down and doing a solo episode with you all today. I feel like it's been a couple of months since we've done one of these. We've had some big guests on the show, which has been really exciting for the show, and also lots of topics that we haven't covered before. I think my favorite was the one we did with Kimberly Gallagher, all about fang shui and what to do to your home to welcome in more wealth, success, and opportunities. So if you haven't listened to that episode, definitely make some time to listen to that one and then set aside some time to fengxui your home. But yeah, we've had some incredible guests, but I'm really excited to sit down today and just chat with you all. I wanted to share the lessons and the wins and the highlights from the last 12 months in the business and in my life because last Saturday I turned 32. Do not ask where that time has gone. It feels like yesterday I was on my mum's mum and dad's property with 10 trestle tables lined up in the paddock celebrating my 30th, and now I'm 32. Like, what the hell? Time is going so fast, but it's a reason to never waste a second. But as I said, I turned 32 and I do like to do this every year. Just sit down and reflect on what the past year has looked like the good, the bad, the wins, the lessons, the failures, and just pull value from that reflection and then set some intentions and goals for the next 12 months. And as I was sitting down and writing the lessons from my last year on earth, I think the biggest message or the biggest lesson that has come through, which I think will resonate with so many of you, one, everything does just work out. Even if in the moment it feels heavy and uncertain and wobbly and unstable, everything does work out eventually. And one of the lessons I'm going to share will help you if you are questioning your life, your business, your brand positioning, and what is next hasn't yet unfolded. Again, I think that's going to really help you just trust the process and surrender control and know that you are so supported and guided, and the more you live in alignment with that flow, the quicker things just fall into place. The second big message or lesson that came from the overall reflection is sometimes things just need time. And there's so much I want to say on that one, but there's been so many moments in my business where I just wanted to be there already. I wanted to have it all figured out, and while you know, and we talk about this on the podcast, energy creation doesn't depend on time and space. Sometimes we just need to ride the wave and ride the roller coaster to figure out who we want to be, the brand we want to have, the offers we want to have, the clients we want to work with. It doesn't matter how much knowledge you consume or how quickly you want this, sometimes it does just need time. So they're the two main messages that came from my reflection, but let's just get
Two Big Messages From Reflection
into it. I have I have 11 different lessons to share with all of you, and again, I think they're going to be so helpful for you if you just know you haven't quite found your thing yet. Maybe the offers you are selling in your business just don't feel right for you, or the way you're showing up on social media feels not really in alignment. You kind of not feel like an imposter, but just feel like you haven't found your groove. Maybe you do have a nudge that the brand needs to look different, you are to position it in a different way, or some kind of expansion is bubbling up inside of you, and you just need a little nudge and a little push and some words of encouragement. So I'm very confident this episode is for you guys. So this is in no particular order. I just did a big brain dump when I was having my coffee in the sun. So we're just gonna we're just gonna roll
Setbacks That Force Better Pivots
with it. So lesson number one is the biggest setbacks always happen for a reason. And if you are experiencing a setback right now, maybe you set an income goal for May and you fell short, maybe you have just come out of a launch and you didn't quite hit your launch target. Maybe just what you're doing in the business right now doesn't feel like it's clicking in the way that you want it to, and I fully appreciate that can feel quite heavy, and especially if that is resulting in some kind of financial setback, that can feel very scary. And I have been in that place many times in my business where I have fallen short of a goal or I had not reached an income level that I kind of needed to given my lifestyle. Yeah, I appreciate it's really it's it's scary and heavy at the at the time, but if I can share one massive lesson from the last 12 months, it is that the setback is happening for a reason. And for me, that reason has been to push me to pivot and to change things behind the scenes. So I want to share an example with you. I launched the collective at the start of this year, and when I first launched that space, the intention was for it to replace the academy. If you have been around for a while, the academy really has been that more scalable offer in my office suite where it's open to an unlimited number of women and really positioned for volume and scaling to a large group of women. That was no longer matching the brand and how I wanted to serve my clients, and that was a decision I made at the start of this year. Off the back of the new year event I did in February, I had a massive download to launch the collective. I doubled the price from the Academy, but it was still kind of set up similar to the Academy in that the intention was for it to be the scalable offer within my suite, open to a larger number of women, while not unlimited, but still a larger group compared to my high-level mastermind. And yeah, just continue to scale that program and have that be the program where many women are funneled into to then go deeper with me, whether in my high-level mastermind or in the one-on-one capacity. So I launched the collective and I was so far from the launch target that I had set for that container. And in that moment, I was naturally quite disappointed, quite confused because the positioning of the collective felt really good at the time. I loved the marketing for that space, and the women who did come into that space were the kind of women I want to work with. So when we were quite far from that launch target, I yeah, really questioned like why? Like, what have I done wrong? Why didn't this work out? And just like anything I do in my business, I like to take a step back and just ask that question: why did I create that outcome? Because of course, we are creating all the outcomes in our business. I created that for a reason, or it happened like that for a reason, and I was on a mission to find why. It did not take long at all for me to realize the way I was setting the collective up just doesn't align with how I want to work with my clients, and I'm gonna share this a little bit more in another lesson, but more than ever, I am craving depth and intimacy with my clients. We live in a world where everywhere you look is a strategy to scale for volume, speak to the masses, selling low-ticket offers to get as many people in your world as possible, doing all of these free events to again get as many people in your world as possible. And yeah, more than ever, I'm wanting to move away from that. And again, this is another lesson, but I realized I value deep conversation with my clients, I value intimacy when they are in my world, and for that to happen, I can't really have this group program with a lot of women in there that is set up to scale for the masses, and so of course, it makes sense why we didn't hit that target that I had set. Because if we did, I would now be on the path of running and operating this brand in a way that I don't want to. So it's like, thank God we didn't hit that target. Thank God that didn't work out how I thought I wanted it to work out because that's ultimately not what I want. And while these nudges were there somewhat before this launch, I needed this launch to play out the way it did for me to fully realize oh, that's that's not what I want. So the biggest setback is there for a reason, and it's usually asking you to look at something deeper or to pivot or to realize the thing you thought you wanted isn't actually what you want, and something else is out there, but you needed that setback for you to see it. Another example I want to share, there have been some months over the last 12 months because of all of the changes I've been making in the background with the brand positioning where income has dipped throughout the last 12 months, and like I said at the start, I'm never ever gonna sit here and say an income dip is comfortable and nice to experience. You I always talk about this. I love making money, and we have seen some incredible income months in the business, and I really normalize that and I've got a lifestyle based on that. So when you are experiencing months from time to time where that income does really dip, again, it's it's scary, it's it feels unpredictable, it feels wobbly, and it's not nice. However, when I have reflected over the past 12 months, when we did have a couple of those months, again, all it was pushing me to do was pivot. I was somewhat still building this brand in a way I thought I had to to scale, but it's not how I wanted to scale. I definitely want to scale, and the income potential to come is still huge, but it doesn't need to look like volume in my programs, but it can look like this really exclusive, high-level, high-priced space for women to step into. So, again, had it not been for the setback, whether in terms of the launch or financially, I wouldn't have been forced to look at what was unfolding and ask the question, is this really what I want? And one thing I will say, which is actually maybe the next lesson or the one coming, sometimes we yeah, we need these we need these situations to unfold for us to see what we truly want. But sometimes this needs to unfold for the next thing to open up. Um, so I guess let's move on to that next lesson
Surrender Control And Trust Timing
now. Surrender control and know it will always work out. If you are in a place right now where you feel like you are forcing outcomes, you feel like everything you are doing is coming with coming with a lot of pressure, and I need this to work out, and you're not seeing the outcomes you want in your business, it's very likely you are gripping way too tightly. And my favorite analogy: if you are in a rapid and there are lots of boulders around and you are grabbing onto that boulder, and the water's trying to flow, you know, past you. If you just let go of the boulder and allow the water to take you, you'll be out of the rapid. So that's what life is supposed to be like. And again, in the last 12 months, there's there's been moments where I've held onto that boulder too tightly, whereas if I had to just let it go and let the rapid take me, I would have ended up exactly where I wanted to be. And the more you can surrender control and just go with the flow of the universe, the more opportunity signs and downloads will be dropped into your conscious awareness. And again, when I reflect on the last 12 months, every time I've just surrendered and let go of that boulder, the downloads have flooded my mind, or I'll see signs in my reality that really does point me in the right direction. Um, you just this sense of knowing that you were supposed to receive that or see that at that moment, and again, that only happens when you move and dance with the flow of the universe. So, again, if you are, if you can just feel that you are gripping too tightly and you want something too badly, let go of that boulder and just trust because that's the biggest, that's the key, right? Trusting. Trusting it will work out because it will. And whenever I look back at those moments in the last 12 months, the moment I just let go of that boulder, something so incredible popped into my orbit that I could not have predicted, but would not have unfolded unless I just moved with the flow of the universe. The next lesson from the last 12 months is lean into your strengths.
Build A High-End Intimate Brand
So really find out what you are naturally so good at, where are you in your element and monetize and expand that as much as possible. For example, going back to the big aha moment I had after the collective launch, I don't want to scale my brand for volume and for the masses. I want to go the opposite way and have all of my spaces be extremely intimate, the numbers capped, and offer mentorship with a lot of depth as opposed to mentorship that is so removed from my clients. And what I will say is the other way is not wrong. It's definitely not wrong. However, it is your responsibility to find which style you prefer. And I mean, obviously, I have a coaching brand, but this goes for any brand. If you are, yeah, any brand, but particularly if you are in a service-based business, there are so many different ways you can scale your service-based business. You could have, you know, a massive team with many different services available, and it's really set up for the masses, or you could be this high-end service provider who works with less clients at a higher rate. And when you do provide an experience for your clients, it is really high level, like you can give yourself to them more. No, no way is better or worse or right or wrong, but I guess my biggest lesson has been like find your thing, find the way that you are supposed to scale your business. And remember, scaling doesn't always look like more people, it could look like higher prices. But going back to leaning into your strengths, really finding again, what are you doing when you're really in your element? When you do your work, what naturally comes so yeah, what comes so natural to you and you just love doing it versus the task or the style of growing that doesn't align with you. Figure that out and fully lean into it. So, in the last 12 months, again, something that has been so clear is I want a really luxury high-end coaching brand. My containers offer depth and a lot of personalized bespoke support. They are intimate, there's not many people in my world at one time, and the experience is really, really high level. And I love the conversations that come from that style of coaching. I love to get to know my clients, and I'm just I'm in my element when I'm in a room with a female entrepreneur helping her grow her business. And I realized if I can get myself into those moments more often, not only will my clients experience so much growth, but I'll be happy in my business and I'll really be leaning into my strengths. So just in May, actually, I launched a complimentary VIP experience where women could come into conversation with me for 30 minutes and we had a look at what needs to shift for them to expand their income and attract in more premium clients. And the reason I opened these complimentary opportunities up was because I realized I want to be in the arena with these female founders and I want to have these conversations with people. And again, there's been, I mean, there are so many strategies available out there for you to open up your world to like, you know, a lead magnet, we'll call it a lead magnet, but ultimately open up your world so people can experience your world. Masterclasses, free PDF downloads, podcast series, which is all great. And I've done most of them, but a lot of those are set up to remove yourself from the client and again speak to the masses and speak to the volumes. I wanted to create experiences where I could actually be in proximity to my clients and have those in-depth transformational conversations, just me and them, that sometimes is lacking when you set up systems and offers for the masses. So, yeah, we launched the VIP experience in May, and that was so incredible just to be in conversation with these women and move them to that next level in their business. Um, I've also been leaning into events and as I've said, making the changes behind the scenes so that all of my spaces are intimate and higher level, not just one of them, and then the rest are set up to scale. So we've had some events over the last actually, yeah, since my birthday last year, I've done three high-level luxurious events. Two of them were for the women in my mastermind, and one of them was the New Year event that we did at the Mondrine at the start of the year. And I just loved, loved those events. I love, it's honestly my love language. I love putting together the most bougie, luxurious events, every detail thought about with so much intention, and they're just beautiful. But also, again, I love being in proximity with these women and actually speaking to them and getting to know them and being in conversation and being in their energy. So, again, just looking for ways to bring even more of that into the business. But that's just become so clear to me over the last 12 months. Lean into that more and make that what your brand is known for. High-level intimate spaces, bougie in-person events, luxury, elegant, exclusive experiences. And it just feels so right, and it's so clear that this is the direction of the brand. But again, would not have unfolded had it not been for those setbacks and those pivots that were so required. Now that leads me to the next lesson, and that is build your way, even if it's different. We live in a world where we are constantly exposed to ideas and inspiration and new strategies and ways to expand. It's very easy to be pulled in multiple different directions, and sometimes the direction we are pulled in isn't where we are supposed to be. Again, I you can kind of see the message here, but in the last 12 months, I've really realized I don't want to bring in all of these AI automated processes to remove myself from my clients. If you inquire with me, I will send you a personal voice message. And it's not to say that I'll never have automated systems or they are bad, but I've just been really mindful. You don't need to get swept up in AI and automated systems and trying to remove yourself from your clients if that's not how you want to run your business. And there's been parts in my business where I've almost felt like I'm not allowed to have a proper conversation with a prospective client. I'm also not allowed to voice message a personal DM when someone inquires. Like, again, I need to be removed, I need to have a system set up, everything needs to be automated. We can't scale unless it is. I'm like, no, like I want the intimacy. And of course, again, it means that's why like my prices are luxury prices because when you step into my world, it is a high-level experience. So, you know, yes, there's both ends to both ends to this. When you want to scale with more exclusivity and intimacy, then obviously naturally the prices have to reflect that. Um, you know, and when you step into my world, I probably will send you a voice message so everything needs to reflect that, but it's okay for your brand to look different. Um, so yeah, ways that I really am doing it differently compared to a lot of coaches and also just brands with the development of AI and technology and things like that is yeah, no longer scaling for volume, but rather scaling with intimacy, no longer being obsessed with automatic systems and automatic funnels and having all of this stuff set up behind the scenes. I want to send you a voice message and welcome you into my world. If you inquire, I want to have a real conversation to find where you should be in my world. Um, again, I don't want to or I'm no longer interested in having a brand with hundreds of clients in my world at one time, but rather I want far less clients who are here for depth and who are here for intimacy and who are here for a high-level experience in my world. And yeah, I just want to find more and more and more ways to offer depth and proximity and closeness in a world that is so obsessed right now with yeah, being so removed from the customer and from the client. And again, like I said, it's not to say there's anything wrong with that, but the whole point of this is for you to know like where do you belong, what's your way to scale and grow your business, and really, really lean
Take Big Leaps To Shift Identity
into that. Okay, the next lesson will come at no surprise to you all, but you need to leap in order for the next level in your business to unfold. What I mean by that is when I have done big things in my business over the last 12 months, it opened up so many new opportunities, a whole new level of like a different caliber of clients stepping into my world, more income, more opportunities every single time I be I did something big. And of course, if we pull back why, it's because when you do something big and expansive, it forces your identity to stretch, it forces you to be someone different in order to hold on to whatever it is that you just did, or to have the courage to do the thing. It also means that you have just shifted your frequency, you have increased your standard, which means you're now a vibrational match for something different. Like I said, off the back of every big decision I've made in my business, a new caliber of client has stepped into my world or income has grown or a like a collaboration or an inquiry has come across, come across my desk. That would not have happened unless I was a vibrational match for those things, and I wouldn't have been a vibrational match for those things had I not taken that leap and just jumped and did something really big. So do something big and make an effort to change the energy within your business. If you're feeling stagnant, that will be felt by your clients and that will then be reflected in the outcomes you were seeing in the business. So one big thing I did in the last 12 months that had a huge ripple effect on the brand and the business was hosting the New Year event at the Mondrian at the start of the year. I booked out the three-bedroom suite. It was almost $4,000 just for the night. I organized beautiful catering, we had servers with champagne, jazz music playing. I made the dress code formal so everyone had to wear a full-length floor-length gown. Um, we just had like the most bougie, elegant night plan for these women, and that did stretch me and it really moved me into a different standard within the business, and that was immediately reflected back, as I said, in terms of the kind of clients that are now in my world and the results that we have seen that we are seeing, but also the downloads that came through again. That really solidified for me that this is the experience of my brand, this is the standard of my brand, and really this is what we're known for that real luxe cartier coaching brand. And I'm really claiming that space, I'm really taking up the stage within that high-end space within the coaching brand. And yeah, I'm really claiming it. And I don't think I would be fully able to do that had it not been for that event and really stepping into that new identity and really just being there and holding that kind of space for women in business. So do something big in your business. Maybe you know what that needs to look like, maybe you have no idea, but it's time to expand, it's time to do something that will change the energy and the standards within your business, knowing that it will automatically be reflected back within your results because life is just a reflection of you. Everything you are seeing in your reality is just a reflection of your identity. So if it's been a little while since you've done something big or done something that's forced you to stretch your identity, whether it's hosting an event, increasing your prices, working with a mentor, moving to a different environment, whatever it may be, let this lesson really inspire you that a shift in your identity will create a shift in your energy, which will create a shift in the standards, which will create a shift in the results. It's the law and it has to unfold that way. Okay, the next lesson is something that I wish I heard so much sooner in my business. And I've been having conversations with my clients recently saying I wish I could go back to my past self in business and tell her that tell her this. Sometimes things just take time. Now, as I said before, yes, energy does not depend on time or space. You can shift your frequency and immediately tune into a new reality, just like a radio station. However, sometimes things just take time, and what I mean by that is it takes time for you to settle into this new identity as the woman doing the big things that you are doing in your life and in your business. Sometimes it takes time for there to be trial and error for you to figure out are these the offers I want to be selling? Is this how I want to show up on social media? Are these the clients I want to work with? Is this the right price for the level of you know expertise and service they get from me? Sometimes you can't find those answers until you just jump in the pool and start swimming. And that does take time. Again, I've shared the past 12 months have included so many aha moments and kind of big pivots within my brand that that really are only coming now because I've just been here for a while. I've just done the thing for a few years now, I've launched programs and figured out that's not how I want to do it. I've fallen flat on my face and asked the question, why did that happen? Do I want to keep doing it that way or is there another way for me? I had to keep trialing offers and trialling price points and trialing marketing content, podcast strategies. I just had to keep trying and trialing and doing and falling and failing for me to figure out who I want to be, what I bring to the table, the positioning of my brand, the standards we hold, who I want to work with, and that just needed time. So if you are listening to this and you are in a place in your business where you are frustrated because things aren't moving fast enough, or frustrated because you just you feel like you haven't found your thing yet, or things aren't quite clicking, and you just want it to happen now, and you're getting annoyed at yourself because things, yeah, they're just not moving, or you're not seeing the results that you want to see, and you're like, oh my god, like why? Like hurry up kind of thing. You just need time. You just need time. And if if we interviewed some high-level entrepreneurs who are doing huge things, Sarah Blakely, for example, the founder of Spanx, she failed so many times until she became the first self-made female billionaire. She used to sell, she used to sell fax machines, I believe, and used to get doors slammed in her face. When she founded Spanx, nobody believed in her. She even tried to pay a patent lawyer to do the patent for her brand, and they refused to be involved because nobody believed in her, and then she became a billionaire. She would not have got to that position in her business had she not got up and just kept going and gave things time. So things need time, not because that's how outcomes are created, but because you need to settle into this identity for a little bit longer. You need to try many different things for you to find out if that's your thing, that's not your thing, what needs to unfold next. You just it just needs time. It just needs time. Um, and again, I wish I could go back and tell my past self that because there's been so many moments in my business where I've been in a rush. I always knew my success was inevitable, but I just wanted it now. Like I've always been so hungry for the expansion that I now feel we have, but is still yet to come. And yeah, there's just been so many moments where I've I've been in such a rush, and I wish I could go back and just say, surrender, let go of that boulder, allow the rapid to take you and just go with the flow and know that it's okay if things don't work out because there's a lesson in there. Know if if that launch didn't unfold the way you thought it would, it's because you were never supposed to launch in that way or scale in that way. Everything happens for a reason, and even if it doesn't seem obvious in the moment, it's about to lead to something even better, and all of that just
Multifaceted Energy And Flexible Routines
needs time. Alrighty, the next takeaway from the last 12 months was something I guess I already knew, but was really confirmed the more I studied and learned more about my human design and my soul contract, and that is that I am multifaceted and I am somebody who thrives with change and flexibility and moving fast and pivoting, and that that's my strength. So I've really seen that unfold in two ways. One in the business, and really leaning into the fact that many different offers and many ways of serving my clients feels good for me, which is why we have a high-level mastermind. We have the lower priced offer, which is premium client attraction, we do in-person events, immersions, I'm on the podcast, I'm speaking on panels, I'm speaking on other people's podcasts, and that feels really good and expansive for me. And like I said, while I have kind of always leaned into that, it was good to hear that reminder that it's how I should be running my business. And if the idea that it is diluting my energy and expertise pops into my mind to immediately remove that because it's certainly not, and it's how I'm actually most magnetic within my business when I do have many different offers and many different ways to work with clients, but also lead the conversation within my industry. I've also really leaned into it when it comes to my routines. Again, something that I've always played around with but really solidified in the last 12 months. It's okay if my routines don't look the same every single day, every single week. For example, maybe this morning I am at the cycle class at 6:30 a.m. and then I'm going for a walk, and then I'm starting my day really early. And then the next day, maybe I'm still sipping my coffee in bed at 9 a.m. And that is okay. And again, that really does lean into my desires when it comes to change and things looking differently, and again, just leaning into that flow a little bit more. So I've completely normalized that no day will look the same within my life, and also my desire for how I want my life to look or my days to look will also change, and that is so fine. And actually, I have an example on that. A few weeks ago, I decided that I wasn't drinking, and I was really enjoying my non-alcoholic wine and my non-alcoholic beer, and it was becoming a part of my identity that I didn't drink alcohol, and if I did, it was a non-alcoholic option. And I found it well, I enjoyed it, but I found it quite easy. Again, it was really a part of my identity, but then I changed, and now I'm back to really loving my glass of red wine at night and going out for pasture and having a nice Shiraz, and now that's back as part of my identity. And again, just normalizing that I will change my mind, my desires, and again, how I want to live my life will change, and that's okay, and that's that's how I'm supposed to operate. So normalizing that, being okay about that, and really leaning into that is something else that I've taken from the last 12 months. I think this probably also has something to do with maturing. You know, you hear people talk about their 30s being their best decade because you really know yourself. You live so unapologetically, and you just do things if it feels good, or you don't if it doesn't. And I think that's also got something to do with this. Just leaning into who I want to be, what I want to do, saying no to things, changing when I feel like I want to, just living my life on my terms and just being so unapologetic
Make It Happen Through Bold Action
about that. Okay, the next lesson or aha moment from the last 12 months has been it's okay to go after things. Now, what I mean by that is I've always been quite driven, ambitious, I've always been curious and someone who will happily follow the breadcrumbs and see where things will lead me. But alongside that, I also know very well how our reality is created and the energetic manipulation we have over our circumstances, and that we can draw opportunities and clients and money to us using our thoughts, emotions, which is ultimately your energetic broadcast. Now, won't go into that too much today because there's so many episodes on how you can also do that, but because I know this, there have been there have definitely been moments in my business where I've sat back and called in opportunities or called in clients and had that be the way my business grows. But in the last 12 months, I've naturally had I've naturally felt called to go out and seek, seek out things and make things happen. Not because I don't believe that I can attract in opportunities and clients, not because I no longer believe in the energetic creation of our reality, but because I've just been hungry and enjoying being in more places, being more bold, and just actively going out and getting the things that I want. So, what that has looked like has been collaborations for speaking events on people's podcasts, but also my podcast, just asking the question, do you want me there as a speaker, or can you come on to my podcast? And usually it has led to a yes or a favorable outcome, collaborations. So getting in the rooms of women and people who I eventually want to collaborate with. So instead of just sitting back and waiting for them to come to me, getting in front of them and kind of playing a game, I'll get in the room I know they are in, and then I'll see if the opportunity can find me. And that's happened a few times over the last 12 months where I have identified a brand I want to collaborate with. I've got in the room I know they'll be a part of. And then using my energy and my intention, I've then called in the opportunity that I ultimately wanted to get out of the situation. And it's kind of a fun game to play, but it's also really, it's really cool to know that you got yourself in the arena and therefore you are rewarded for it. And with that, I actually declared May, make it happen in May, and it was an intention to do more of that. Again, actively go out and get into the rooms, send off those pictures, ask for the guests to come onto the podcast, go to those spaces, be a part of the conversation, just make it happen and do more and be hungry for the results that you want to create and see within your business and life while maintaining this really magnetic and attractive energy. And what I've seen over the last 12 months is when you combine the two drive, ambition, hungriness with this magnetic, desirable attraction energy, you make waves in your
Stop Proving Yourself And Own It
industry. Okay, the next point isn't necessarily a lesson, but it's something I've realized within myself that has really happened over the last 12 months. And it's this shift in my identity and therefore my energy, where I no longer feel like I have to prove myself to people. What I mean by that is from the day I started this brand, I've got my clients incredible results. The ability that I have as a mentor comes very natural to me. And because of the years of personal development and study and research that I've done, I've I've just always been able to get my client in clients' incredible results. But there's always been this energy, this underlying energy, where I've got to prove that to people. So it's like I've got the testimonial and now I need to make sure you can see that I get my clients' results. And I don't, it's hard to describe this. It's kind of just like this knowing that I don't need to prove this to people anymore. Like I just I know with so much certainty and conviction my work is good. I get my clients' results, and the experience you have in my world is so high-end, and I don't need to prove that anymore. And instead, I just know like I just have this knowing that others can feel it. You can feel that I do a good job, you can feel that my clients are having such an incredible experience. You can just feel this conviction, and I just know that. And it's a really cool place to be in business because when you are no longer trying to prove yourself and instead energetically you have already arrived, naturally the results do catch up with that. And I think that's one of the reasons why the kind of women who have come into my world over the last 12 months have been insane. The spaces we are filling have been insane because that energy is felt, that standard is felt, and again, it's a really good place to be in business because I definitely haven't always been here. I, even though I knew my work was good and I was getting people results, there was still such an energy of trying to prove that to the world and make sure people saw that, as opposed to fully believing it within myself, creating this energetic conviction and then just. Knowing that will be felt by the right women even before my words are spoken.
Loving Work And Bringing It In-Person
And then finally, I've realized I love working. My career and my business is a big part of my identity, and I'm okay about that. What I mean by that is there have been moments in my business where I've questioned, am I working too much? Am I doing too much? Almost pulling back because my biggest value is freedom. So if I'm working too much, that's going against my value. And, you know, again, not giving myself permission just to throw everything into my work and my career. But yeah, in the last 12 months, I've realized I love working. I love having big days with meetings and podcast interviews and speaking at events and traveling for work. And I love that a big part of my identity is wrapped up in my career. And just in the last six months, I've been really unapologetic about that. So actively doing more in my business, actively creating more in my business, and wearing that as a bit of a badge of honor that my identity is wrapped up in my career, and that's completely fine. And I can still have a lot of freedom in my life, which I do because of the way my business has been structured. I can work a lot and have, you know, days full of meetings, but I can do that anywhere in the world, kind of at any time. So yeah, really just loving my work and leaning into that and being okay about that. And so off the back of that, I have been brainstorming ways to lean into that even more. I really want to move into an office space where we've got an office, a podcast studio, and then some kind of like event space. So buying some kind of warehouse and fully setting up a workspace that I can go into every day because I actually do like that. I love getting dressed up for work and going to get a coffee and going to a workspace when you work from home, even though I do get dressed every day and I go get my coffee, but we're just coming into the home office. Like I actually I want to I want to work commute again. I want to go into a space and be there all day and work and then close the door and go home at night. Like I kind of miss that part of working. And yeah, I've just had these uh moments lately of well, I can I can do that again, I can bring that into the business. So yeah, some big changes and even bigger things coming coming my way, but some kind of warehouse space or office space, something I do see in the future soon. Also moving a lot of my meetings, if I can, to in-person meetings. So if I am catching up with one of the speakers for the immersion, for example, if they are local, let's go grab a coffee or let's go grab a wine and talk about this as opposed to doing it on Zoom or picking up the phone, actively bringing in more in-person events to all of my client spaces. So in July, we have the immersion for my high-level mastermind. We're also doing a soure for the women in the collective and finding more opportunities to do that, and then yeah, just fully leaning into while yes, this is an online business. How can we bring it in real life more often and just be in people's energy and do a do more
Reflect On Your Year And Close
of that? So, yeah, I feel like I'm in a really good place within my business, within the brand, the kind of clients I'm working with, the spaces that are coming together, and it's just a really good feeling. However, I had to fail a lot before I got here. I had to trial so many different ways before I found the ways that worked for me and that feel really good for me. I had to give it time. I had to be okay about not figuring things out overnight and knowing I will get there eventually, but I've just got to keep going. And just asking these big questions, sure, that's how they are scaling and that's how they are running their business. But is that how I want to do it? Does that match up with the brand positioning and the marketing and the feeling and the experience that I want to be known for, even if nobody else is doing it? And just fully leaning into that and backing yourself and almost actively trying to be so different. So hopefully there have been some aha moments, some gold nuggets in the last 12 months that you can take away and implement or think about when it comes to your own business. But yeah, I just want you to know that, and it also could be an invitation to do something similar, reflect on your past 12 months and pull out the lessons and the moments that you want to reflect on. Um, it is a good exercise, and we should all do it more often. So there you go. There's a wrap of the last 12 months as I turn 32.
